This is the first of a planned monthly email newsletter. Being completely new, we expect that the content and format will change over time. If you would like to help us improve the newsletter, you can either join us in discussion on our website (http:/www.willowbrookartscamp.org - you'll have to join to be able to see and participate in the discussion), or you can respond to this email with your suggestions. Thanks! |

Website changes
We've been working on ourwebsite http:/www.willowbrookartscamp.org. While the public pages haven't changed much, we now have a private area just for members. To access the private area, click on the "Join" button on the bottom of the page. The private area contains a list of the people who are members (so you can stay in touch with each other), forums about topics we as a group want to discuss, and whatever else we might find useful as we look at improving the site.
2009 Fees
We have created a two tier pay structure this year. Willowbrook's mission has always been to keep prices low, allowing families to enjoy the benefits of our unique arts camp. Our lower tiered price is $170, however, our actual cost per camper is $190. If you can, please help us by paying the actual cost per camper this year. Our goal is to keep Willowbrook financially healthy for many years to come.

Credit card paymentsFor the first time, we now take credit card payments! We are limiting this to full-week payments, and this option is only available on our website (we will not take credit card payments over the phone, or on site at camp).Note: If you have not registered for camp, in addition to making the payment you will have to send in your registration and medical forms BEFORE coming to camp. |
Tent News
PotteryWe have received a $1000 grant from the Jackson Family Foundation, which we've used to buy kiln supplies. Thanks! And many thanks to the Skutt family for so generously donating a new kiln! |

IN OTHER NEWSThe Ultimate Pandas DVD is now being sold on Amazon and on the web. It will also be available to purchase at the front desk at Willowbrook this summer! It has good Amazon reviews, including many positive comments about the use of children's discussion and voices, all from Willowbrook! The narrative was made at Willowbrook in 2007.
We'd love to put some camper and the committees and who to parent quotes on our website. If contact in the private area you have a quote to share, please email it to us. And let us know if we can use your name with the quote. Thanks! |
