Message from the Board

Greetings from the Willowbrook Board,

 

Our Willowbrook 2009 season came to an end with the spirit of cooperation, collaboration and creativity permeating the camp more than ever this year. For those of you who weren't able to join us at our final week of camp, our auction was a tremendous success, raising close to $12,000 - a record high for this event.

 

Our final two performances of Willy Wonka attracted over 600 people. The costumes and staging were magnificent. The drama staff is already planning next year’s possible shows. There is interest in “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” “Tom Sawyer” and “The Swiss Family Robinson” and that consummate musical “Beauty and the Beast.” Check the website during the year for more details..

 

We loved having your children with us and hope you are already thinking about how you can fit Willowbrook into your summer plans next year. We are happy to hear from anyone with questions or suggestions about making Willowbrook even more vibrant.
