Tom & Huck
Mark Twain's mischievous romp through the antebellum South is full of unforgettable characters, including two shoeless rascals named Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.
Stepping in Time: Cave To Castle To Curb!
An extravaganza that explores dance through the ages, from ancient instinctive rhythms to formal dancing and the impulse to move to a 21st century urban beat!
The Hobbit
"My precious..." Bilbo Baggins is catapulted from his comfortable Shire home into an unimaginable adventure to a distant land where Smaug the dragon awaits him.
A Doctor in Spite of Himself (Moliere)
As the debate over Health Care rages in America today, Moliere's classic comedy reminds us that, even in the 17th century, laughter has always been the best medicine.
The Merry Wives of Windsor (Shakespeare)
The portly Sir John Falstaff finally gets what he deserves when Mistress Ford and Mistress Page give him his just desserts in this favorite from the great bard.
Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jr.
A tale as old as time, our production of this classic story about the conquering power of love is based on the Disney movie and award-winning Broadway production.
Memories of Last Summer
This is a hearty thank you to everyone who responded to Boaz Frankel's letter sent in December. Boaz, a camper alumnus and current teacher, shared his thoughts and his memories of last summer - and many other summers - spent at Willowbrook. If you didn’t receive his letter, you can find it here. And if you haven't yet responded to his request for donations, we still welcome them - no matter what size. You can donate online, or you can send donations to Willowbrook, at:

Again, thank you!
A New Home for our Website
You’ve probably noticed that we have a new web site. Airset, our old web site hosting company, provided great value and made it easy to author content; but we heard from several people that our site loaded very slowly or sometimes not at all, Airset started to display ads on our site, the site was mobile-unfriendly, and what we could do with the site was very limited.
Our new web site is hosted by grassroots.org, an organization dedicated to supporting non-profits. Grassroots.org gives us full control over what is on our site. It also allows us flexibility in the software we use for the web site. This has allowed us to build a site that works better for more browsers and can be viewed on mobile phones. And we can continually improve the site and add more functionality. We’re excited about the site, and we hope you will be too.
Thank You!
We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who dropped off or picked up campers last summer. In the middle of the season, the City of Tualatin informed us that the camp traffic was causing long delays for the people who lived in the area; and the City provided us with an alternate route they wanted our drivers to use. Well, you all responded positively and immediately. And not only did your change mitigate the problem, but it also resulted in a more efficient and faster drop-off and pick-up process for all of us! Thanks!
Get the Word Out!
Do you love Willowbrook? Don't let it be a secret! Put some posters up at your school or the stores you frequent - with the school's and stores' permission of course! You'll find posters available for download here on the web site.
Thanks!
Like to Fundraise?
The board is currently recruiting members for our fundraising subcommittee. If you have talents and skills that might help us with fundraising events, grant writing, and building our sustainable giver's club we'd love your help. We are also currently looking for an auction coordinator. Please contact Linda Cohen or Larry McClure to volunteer.
Author, Author!
Do you like to write? Maybe interview people and find out their interesting stories?
The Willowbrook Board's Communication Committee is looking for people who want to write articles for future newsletters and for our web site.
If this sounds like fun, let us know! Go to the contact form on willowbrookartscamp.org, select the category "I'd like to volunteer!", and let us know how to contact you.
We look forward to creating great works together!
