We are excited to tell you about this coming summer at Willowbrook. If you are parents of campers who joined us last year (and, perhaps for years before that), we want to tell you how much we appreciate having your children with us. Whether they danced the Pata-Pata, threw fifteen pots, wove a bread basket, or sang an Oompa Loompa solo in Willie Wonka’s factory last year, each one of them brought greater beauty and joy into our camp and, hopefully, into your homes.

If you are looking at Willowbrook for the first time, we want you to understand our commitment to bringing out the creative passion in your child, be it through music, arts and crafts, exploring nature, dance, photography, film or poetry. Every summer we turn a little patch of nature on the banks of the Tualatin River into a bustling array of tents overflowing with artistic expression.

This summer’s performance highlights will include the mischievous Tom Sawyer, dances spanning from cave to street corner, a hobbit adventure, Shakespeare’s Merry Wives of Windsor, and Beauty finding her Beast. Daily, campers will be bowing violins, beading bracelets, or soldering iridescent glass into swans and willows and who knows what else.

We look forward to seeing your children exploring their imaginative selves with us for six weeks (or portions of those six weeks) this summer!
