Pick Up & Drop Off Route

Getting to the Camp

The City of Tualatin has specified that all drop-off and pick-up camp traffic must use a route that loops around Meridian Park Hospital onto Borland road and back along Nyberg Lane.

This specification is for the benefit of both the neighbors of Brown’s Ferry Park who would otherwise have difficulty accessing their driveways, and Willowbrook parents who, with this route, have a place to safely pull off the road while they wait to enter the parking lot. It also allows emergency vehicles to easily pass waiting cars.

This route adds just over 2 miles and approximately 5 minutes to your travel time, so please plan to leave home a little earlier.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE OTHER SHORTCUTS THROUGH THE ADJACENT NEIGHBORHOODS!

Approaching from the west:

  • Go east on Nyberg Rd. from Tualatin & I5
  • Do not get in the left hand turn lane to the park—veer right up the hill past the hospital on 65th
  • Turn left onto Borland Rd. at the stop light
  • Go through the next stop light and pass Bridgeport Elementary School
  • Turn left on Wilke Rd. from the turn lane just past the school
  • Wilke Rd. curves left and becomes Nyberg Lane as it approaches Brown’s Ferry Park from the east
  • Go through the stop sign at the 57th Ave. intersection
  • Pull into the bike lane to wait your turn to enter the parking lot

Approaching from the east:

Traffic coming from the east on Borland Rd. will follow the above directions from the turn onto Wilke Rd., which is just before Bridgeport Elementary School.

Please help ensure Willowbrook’s continuance at Brown’s Ferry Park by complying with this request from the City of Tualatin.
