Greg Johnson

Greg Johnson is a professional northwest potter who specializes in porcelain ceramics. He began working in clay in 1998 at McMinnville High School, and then later graduated with a BA in Studio Art and Business in 2005 from George Fox University. After graduating, he went to work with Dan Wheeler at Oregon's finest pottery gallery, Mossy Creek Pottery. After some time as a resident artist, Greg pursued his art on his own, showing in galleries all over Oregon, including the Lawrence Gallery, Blackwell Gallery, and still at Mossy Creek. Greg recently earned a Masters in teaching from George Fox University and is the new ceramics teacher at Tigard High School. Greg still shows and sells his work all over Oregon, and he is actively involved in promoting the ceramic arts locally and nationally.
