Live Online Classes 

Join your favorite Willowbrook instructors for live, online art lessons beginning in December 2020! Below, you'll find information about each class offering and links to register through our partners at City of Tualatin. When registration for each class closes, we will follow up by email with a Zoom link to join your class!

Sing, Move, and Play!

Tuesdays from Jan 26 - March 2 @ 4:00pm

Join yoga instructor Natalie Buster for Sing, Move, and Play! This class will provide opportunities for enriching play using the tools of yoga, theatre, and music to encourage expression, exploration, and love. Activities will differ by the day and can include reading our favorite books, singing, and dancing together. Join us for all six sessions or drop in for any one (or more) of our classes!

Beginning Printmaking

Mondays from Jan 18 - Feb 8 @ 3:30pm

Join multidisciplinary artist & WB Printmaking Specialist Hanna Gentile for an online introduction to basic printmaking techniques using common household materials. The class will culminate with a bookbinding lesson, where students will bind the prints they created over the class into a self-reflective visual storybook.

Materials for this class are included in the class fee and can be delivered to Portland metro residents by Willowbrook staff.

Beginning Printmaking

Join multidisciplinary artist & WB Printmaking Specialist Hanna Gentile for an online introduction to basic printmaking techniques, carving soft linoleum and printing with water-based ink. The course will cover safety, positive and negative space carving, collage, stamp-making, and more, and will culminate in a self-curated, narrative book of their prints. 

Materials for this class are included in the class fee and can be delivered to Portland metro residents by Willowbrook staff.

World Folk Dance

Wednesdays from Feb 3 - March 10 @ 4:30pm

Join us for World Folk Dance with Janet! In this class, we will learn the moves to traditional folk dance dances from around our world, focusing on a new country (e.g. Israel, Turkey, Ireland, etc) each week. Janet will share artifacts and flags from each country and we will explore the world and learn how people move through dance! We’ll also do some of our Willowbrook folk dance favorites each week and of course, we’ll always end with the Pata Pata. No experience necessary, we'll teach you all the moves. Join us for all six classes in the series, or drop in for any one or more. 

Origami Series

Jan 12 + 26, Feb 9 + 23, and March 9 @ 4:30pm

Come and fold with a long time Willowbrook Japanese Art Specialist and Origami Instructor, Yuki Martin. Each class, Yuki will teach you the steps to fold one to two creative origami models, listed by date below. All skill levels are welcome, but 5-8 year olds may need adult assistance. Materials for this class are included in the class fee and can be delivered to Portland metro residents by Willowbrook staff. Join us for all five classes in the series, or drop in for any one (or more) classes of your choosing!
